The Find Distinct function on the Search Screen allows you to limit your search results to only a single plan per plan sponsor. This is particularly useful if you are sending a mailing to plan sponsors. If you click the Find Distinct button, each plan sponsor will appear only once on your mailing list.

Use this feature cautiously. Only one plan (record) per sponsor is marked with this indicator. When you enter criteria other than geographic criteria on the sponsor tab, you may exclude plans that are marked as the distinct record. You may thereby inadvertently eliminate prospects that you might otherwise want to consider.
